The Trustees and Governors of Ridgegate Home are a corporate body responsible for the administration of the home. The board meet 4 times a year. The board a very supportive to the senior team at Ridgegate.

The Registered Manager, Mrs Samantha Tobin has an NVQ 4 qualification and Registered Managers Award, she has managed Ridgegate since June 2010, she is supported by a strong and dedicated team of staff and governors who have all been selected due to their experience and caring approach to elderly people. Samantha is hands on throughout the team and strives to ensure governing bodies standards are met to a high standard and understood by her team.
The manager is supported by Mrs. Lyn Arnould who as Office Manager is more than happy to help with any problems you may have. She deals with all aspects of administration with regards to the residents and staff. She is supported by a part time administrator.
The home has a Care Manager, Mrs Angela Ballantyne , she is committed to the home and always has the residents best interests at heart. She is responsible for ensuring that the care team follow standards to CQC requirements and that all relevant documentation is completed, she is supported by an administrator, who has many years experience at the home.
The Care Team consists of two senior care assistants and eleven care support workers, most of whom have qualified to NVQ Level 2 or above. The Senior Carers have been successful in gaining the higher-level NVQ Level 3 qualification in care. A continuous staff-training programme is in place to ensure that these high standards of care are maintained.
The kitchen is managed by Miss Rachel Arnould, who has qualifications to support her role, she ensures that the food supplied is of a high quality and special diets are catered for. She will discuss on arrival with new residents about their likes and dislikes and ensure the menus include food that all enjoy and provide an alternative daily. Rachel maintains the kitchen area to a standard giving the home a 5* rating by environmental health.
The Ancillary Staff consists of three domestics, four kitchen staff, a laundry lady and a maintenance engineer who are all dedicated to keeping the home running smoothly.
